Creativity United’s free movie night at the Little Theatre on Thursday, August 28, includes some of the best films of the summer.
If you market to teens, have teens, or think you are a teen, you won’t want to miss American Teen. It’s the Sundance sensation that follows the lives of four teenagers: the jock, the popular girl, the artsy girl and the geek. Showtime 7:10.
Hailed as Woody Allen’s best film in years, Vicky Cristina Barcelona stars Scarlett Johannson and Penelope Cruz as two girlfriends on a summer holiday in Spain. They become enamored with the same painter (Javier Bardem), unaware that his ex-wife, with whom he has a tempestuous relationship, is about to re-enter the picture. Showtime 6:30.
The critics love Tell No One, the contemporary thriller that’s one part “Vertigo” and one part “The Fugitive.” Showtime 6:40.
Admission is free with RSVP through our homepage. And don’t forget about the chance to meet and mingle with your fellow RAF & AIGA friends in the Little Cafe before the show beginning at 5 pm. Cash bar but the conversation and schmooze opps will cost you nada!
In our continuing quest to connect our creative communications community, we’re collaborating with AIGA to bring you CREATIVITY UNITED. (Geez, alliteration much?) Our first collab will be A LITTLE NIGHT OUT, a free movie and social gathering at The Little Theatre. The event is free with RSVP–just click on the link on our homepage to register. Along with connecting with our fellow creative communicators, Creativity United events will let us show our support for the great film, art, music our community has to offer. And let’s face it: we need this stuff as much as it needs us. It’s our creative fuel…our spinach. So, eat your spinach, will ya?
